In your business it is more likely that you are the only person looking after the payroll. If you are planning to go on holiday, you need to consider how to keep up with the Single Touch Payroll (STP) obligations. The underlying requirement that drives the STP is you need to report to the ATO on or before the actual payment. If no one will be paid while you are away then you don’t need to do anything as there will be no payments made while you are away. However, if payments are made during your time away you can do the following to meet your STP obligations:
